The Certified Flight Instructor certificate (CFI) allows you to teach others to fly airplanes.​ The Certified Flight Instructor Instrument certificate (CFII) allows you to teach others to fly airplanes under instrument conditions.
FAA Requirements
The FAA requires that you meet the following minimum requirements in order to obtain a CFI or CFII certificate. Through rigorous training, simulators, and practical application our instructors can help you achieve these minimums safely and effectively.

Obtain Commercial Pilot Certificate

FAA 3rd Class Medical

Pass the FAA Fundamentals of Instruction Knowledge Test

Pass the FAA Written Knowledge Test

Pass the FAA Practical Test

Obtain Sufficient Dual Instruction to Gain Proficiency (No Minimum)
